About The artist

Hello!

Hello! I’m Kaili (pronounced “Kylie”) I’m a Brisbane based artist and illustrator.

I grew up in a very creative household. My dad is an animator, so drawing was always part of everyday life and quickly became my favourite way to express myself. I’ve always been drawn to making beautiful things and honestly, I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t sketching something.

I’ve been working as a professional artist for over eight years, specialising in live event illustration. My work has appeared in magazines, greeting cards and books, and I love bringing art to life in a way that feels personal and a little bit special.

I work across both digital and traditional mediums, but my heart will always belong to the old fashioned approach. Give me ink, markers and paint any day.

A few random facts about me:

I’m a pocket sized, 5ft tall. Yes, really.

I’m a very proud mum of three beautiful kids.

My husband and I run a busy family business together.

And I will never say no to a good coconut margarita.
